Phase 1 Temple land acquired – With the grace of our Guruji and patronage of devotees, we are pleased to inform that 2.27 acres of land has been acquired at Kannanthangal village (off Chennai- Bangalore Highway & 10 kms from Sunguvarchatthiram) for building the temple of Sri Swarna Kameshwari. The registration process was completed on May 29, 2009 and the Sangh thanks each one of the contributors for the timely support. Kindly note this 2.27 acres is ear marked for temple construction however to bring the vision of Guruji in to reality we would need to acquire atleast one more acre of land for the support activities, to carryout socio religious activities like Cow Shed/Gho-Shala, Vedic Learning Center, Medical camp etc.
Swarna Ganapathi idol and Vasthu pooja – Going with the adage “Subashya Sheegram” – meaning do the good things ASAP, we are pleased to inform that on Sunday July 12, 2009, at the august presence of our revered Guruji, the following activities was successfully completed:

The idol of Swarna Aakarshana Ganapathy, the remover of all obstacles was installed amidst Vedic Chantings and Homams along with Naga devatha

Vaastu Pooja was conducted at the appropriate muhurtha with the guidance of Sri Sankaranada Swamigal of Murugashram, Chennai.
Sangh sincerely thanks Sri Sankaranada Swamigal for the gracing by his presence and all the member devotees who had participated in the event.
Appeal: The temple plan outlay with architecture and project details are being worked out and will be shared once approved by Shri Guruji. Meanwhile we request all the devotees and philanthropic minded to contribute liberally through donations to accomplish the temple construction.
